Sunday night’s performance was really good, and an excellent way to end the series. Drumlab’s set up was out of this world, and Max Alper filled the room using only his voice and a guitar. The action’s up on the gallery page.
…it was quite a run. I’ll miss this project. Onward and upwards, though!
Thanks to everyone who helped me see this through. I could not have done any of this without your unwavering support. You know who you are, and I love you.

Episode 5 was pretty interesting: in addition to the usual laptops, we saw action from AKA’s 2 circuit bent walkmen, a plastic birthday cake, and Jimmie’s mutilated Furby. Check out the action on the gallery page!
Next week, we have DrumLab in-studio. They’re great at improv, so this should be an awesome event!
FYI, there’s no new episode of Share.tv this weekend, but we will return on Sunday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m. with in-studio guest AKA.
And to that lone visitor checking out the site from Sudan, keep it real! (Maybe you want to dial-in your beats next time?!)

Sunday’s episode of Share.tv was great! Everyone really enjoyed improvising with Calliope Quartet, especially since it had been the first time “live” instrumentation was added to the mix. And those guys are excellent improvisers.
Frits Lyneborg from letsmakerobots.com saw the feature on the site, and loooooved it! He wrote me:
OMG, that is so funny!!! (for me at least, what an accent I have)
Thank you ever so much, Harlo!!! I am amazed what you got out of it! Thank you!
Will look into the rest of your shows, and hope everyone else will chek it out as well! (And yes - hope to see your robots as well - I think we all are!)
All the video and pictures are up on the gallery page. You should check it out!

Thanks to Truman Peyote for delivering an amazing set at Share last night, complete with maracas and projected visuals! Also in-studio were AKA who showed off a couple of great Jitter patches (image processing), and Jimmie Rodgers, whose circuit-bent instruments added a lot of texture to the sound. (Jimmie’s got a great blog going for all his adventures in circuit bending, also worth a look…)

All of last night’s action is on the gallery page… go check it out!
Be sure to join us next week at the studio with Calliope Quartet, and whoever else comes by… Maybe you?!

Share premiered yesterday on CCTV channel 10 and on the internet! Lovers v. Haters and AKA performed an hour-long set, and John, the audio guy, went nuts with a dangerous green laser.
The next episode should be a lot more fun. We need more participants to come down and jam with us. You can view yesterday’s episode from the gallery page, along with the individual features. NEXT SHOW IS SUNDAY, MARCH16th! Hope to see you there…

CCTV studios are closed for President’s Day weekend, meaning that the Share.tv premiere will be moved to March 2. Same line-up, same time (6:30-8:30), just two weeks later.
Please update your calendars accordingly! I hope to see you there!
